Uber about to launch UberX in Germany, Book A Tiger partners with Immobilienscout24, Auctionata raises €42 million C round.

Book A Tiger teams up with Immobilienscout24

Berlin-based cleaner booking platform Book A Tiger announced a partnership with Immobilienscout24, one of Germany’s largest real estate platforms. Immobilienscout24 will  advertise Book A Tiger as a cleaning option when moving. In return, Book A Tiger will offer special conditions. The cooperations is planned for 12 month.

Uber wants to launch legal driving service in Germany

After staying in trouble with UberPop since it first started, Uber wants to launch a legal service in Germany by summer. WiWo believes it will be called UberX. Different to UberX in other countries, in Germany drivers will have a passenger transportation licence. The costs for the tests drivers have to take will be covered by Uber.

Auctionata raises €42 million C Round

Berlin-based Auctionata which broadcasts online live auctions for fine art and collectibles raised a €42 million round, making it a total of €79 million funding. The round is led by stock-listed MCI Management from Warsaw. New investors Hearst Venture from New York, Kreos Capital from Londo and Yuan Capital from Hong Kong came on board. In addition, all existing investors (e.g. Earlybird, e.ventures, Kite ventures, Raffay Group, TA Ventures, Bright Capital, REN Invest and Holtzbrinck Ventures) joined.
