18 June – Best of Rhineland

Best of X unites a region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. In 2015 the competition takes place in Munich, Cologne and Hamburg. The rules stay the same: National and local partners nominate up to three startups from their own respective entrepreneurial environment. Best of X Ambassadors chose 9 of the ten finalists. The 10th participant is chosen via online crowdvote. In the finals a jury representing seasoned entrepreneurs, media and venture capital select three winners – the Best of Rhineland.
20 June – Yeeha! Der Gründungskongress – From Problem to Startup
There will be three speeches about the topcis Design Thinking, Onlinemarketing and the possibilities of startups to raise capital. At “Worldcafé” participants can get in touch with one of the eight invited entrepreneurs for discussing daily challenges of a startup. In the evening the EntrepreneurTalente e.V. will invite Stuttgart’s startup scene for a “Meat&Greet” to come together with the participants in a laid-back atmosphere.
22 June – TEDxHamburg
TEDxHamburg wants to explore new territories. That means that they want to take you on a journey to explore insights in the latest developments and future trends in different areas of social life and scientific advancement. This conference will be about unexpected discoveries and disruptive innovations that will change participants’ thinking and living and will show the multiple ways how culture, art, economy and science are deeply entangled and interact today to change our living conditions in the future.
23 June – DB Accelerator Pitch

Deutsche Bahn Infrastructure launches an accelerator program and is looking for innovative ideas, technologies, products or business services in: 1. Improve maintenance, 2. Create new communication and/or sales channels or 3. Improve network efficiencies. The application deadline for the accelerator program is Wednesday, June 10th 2015. Finalists will be offered a chance to pitch their business concept on June 23rd 2015. Five teams will be selected from the pitch contest to participate in the accelerator program, receive €25,000 and the opportunity to accelerate their business over the next three months.
24 – 26 June – MLOVE ConFestival
As mobile becomes the remote control of our lives, the impact of smart technology will soon dominate everything around us. New chances and business opportunities arise with the Internet of Things (IoT).
This next step in our technological evolution is changing the way we live and work. This year the MLOVE ConFestival will support Hamburg to become the smartest city of the world. MLOVE is building a new experience with full size sea containers, including the next level inventions and ideas from smart cities worldwide: The Future City Campus.

Tech Open Air is a three-day Interdisciplinary Technology Festival.

Satellites – All Around the City: Last year the community organized more than 75 satellite events across town. In 2015 TOA aims for even more.
