Vaniday acquires Italian competitor

Rocket Internet-backed beauty and wellness platform Vaniday acquired its Italian competitor Blissbooker Italy. Through the acquisition, Vaniday doubled its customers and will now expand to more cities, such as Rome. More details of the deal have not been shared with the public.

ProSiebenSat.1 invests in Vitafy

After already owning 28 per cent, media publisher ProSiebenSat.1 now stocked up to 50 per cent of Vitafy, a Munich-based startup focused on protein products, weight reduction products and healthy diet advice. The startup, with 85 employees in Austria and Germany, decided not to comment on the size of the investment.

Tesla acquires Grohmann Engineering

Car builder Tesla acquired the German mechanical engineer Grohmann Engineering. Based in Rhineland-Palatinate, the company will from now on be called Tesla Grohmann Automation and 1,000 new engineer and technician jobs shall be filled to support California- and Michigan productions. The company currently employees 700 people.
Further details of the deal stay undisclosed.
