Seven-digit amount for Bookingkit
Berlin-based Bookingkit raises a seven-digit Series A round. Besides existing investor HTGF (High Tech Gründerfonds) and business angel Robert Kabs, Medien Onion’s venture arm Intermedia invested. Concrete details of the deal remain undisclosed. Bookingkit offers a SaaS solution where activity providers can overview and organise bookings.
Staffbase raises €2 million
Chemnitz-based Staffbase, the messenger and intranet app that competes with Slack, raises €2 million. Having started in late 2014 with a different name (“Eyo”), the startup now employs 14 people. The Series A investment comes from Capnamic Ventures and existing investor Kizoo Technology.
€23 million for Thermondo
Berlin-based Thermondo is a technology driven provider of heat and power. Existing investors, such as power company E.on, Holtzbrinck Ventures, IBB and Alexander Samwer’s Picus Capital, as well as new investor Rocket’s Global Founders Capitals, who led the round, came together to invest a €23 million strong Series C round. While previous rounds were raised for 12 months, this round will last longer, CEO Philipp Pausder stated to Gründerszene, who reported about the story first.
