Zalando adds new service for brands

Besides the news that Zalando just recently invested an undisclosed amount in France-based B2B e-commerce platform Le New Black, it also wants to add a service for other fashion brands to become part of their digital strategy. What Zalando wants to offer is that brands can build and organise their online shops on the Zalando platform. Also, the Berlin-based online shop giant wants to invest €200 million in logics and technology within this year.

Rocket Internet’s Q1 selected companies report

Berlin-based startup factory Rocket Internet released its Q1 report for twelve selected portfolio companies. In this document it stated that looses decreased by €40 million. However, HelloFresh and Westwing seem to struggle. More details are on

Freshdesk to open new office in Berlin

US-based Freshdesk is cloud-based customer support platform that claims to ease communication between brands and their customers. With Europe being it’s second largest market (after the US), the company now announces to open an office in Berlin soon in addition to the one in London, that already exists. Until now, it’s unclear how many people will be based in Germany’s capital to work for Freshdesk.
