The sharing economy has made living lean. People share property, resources, time and skills across online platforms, allowing individuals to work flexibly and earn more for their skills, and allowing some to make money from unused or under-used assets while others pay-as-they-go rather than own expensive assets. There has been tremendous growth in collaborative consumption over the past few years, and it looks set to further expand with digital innovations in business and a change in mindset. But is there really nothing but blue sky? At the event at Ahoy! enlightening talks from Book A Tiger, Ridelink, OuiShare Magazin // Collaborative Consumption and Wunderflats will take place.
