Will Alibaba invest in Wirecard?

Rumors have it that the Chinese company Alibaba would like to invest in Munich-based fintech Wirecard. Apparently Alibaba’s payment provider Alipay are currently in discussion with the company to receive 25 per cent of the shares. Neither one commented on the rumors.

VR startup Splash announces $2.5 million investment

Berlin-based Splash already made it into the news this March, winning the SXSW accelerator price. However, now it has raised $2.5 million for its idea. The round was led by New York- and Los Angeles-based Greycroft Partners. Other US-, Europe-, and Asia-based VC participated as well. Beyond them: Advancit, Felix Capital, BDMI, and Seedcamp.
