Health App LifeTime raised 1,00,000 euros in a round with the medical company Thieme, the High-Tech Gründerfonds and several business angels. The startup currently publishes medical literature but wants to move into the digitalisation of patient files.
Jameda acquires Patientus
The Munich-based startup Jameda, which compares doctors, acquired the Berlin-based startup Patientus. Patientus provides software that allows doctors and their patients to communicate over webcams. While doctors use the service for a monthly fee of 29 euros, that will change in July. A new regulation lets doctors bill this service over patients’ health insurance; as a result Patientus expects an uptick in users. The service will be integrated to jameda.de in 2017.
