PrintPeter raises €1.1 million, lets students print for free

The Berlin-based printing company PrintPeter raised 1.1 million euros with the help of several business angels. The startup lets students print their papers for free and charges companies to advertise on their printing paper. New investors include Daniel Schütt and Stefan Peukert, the founders of Employour, a career platform, and Dieter Dahlhoff, a professor at the University of Kassel. Existing investors included StudiVZ's managing directors Michael Brehm and Thomas Baum, also participated.

Ottonova raises €15 million

Ottonova, a digital solution for private insurance, announced raising 15 million euros. The young company, which raised 5 million euros last year, needs a large investment to acquire the licensure necessary to operate as an insurer. The company told Gründerszene that the round was completed in two steps: In January Holzbrinck Ventures invested a second time and Vorwerk Ventures joined. In March Tengelmann Ventures, b-to-v Partners and STS Ventures also invested.

Rankingcoach secures €5 million investment

The Cologne-based startup Rankingcoach, which helps companies improve their SEO listing, secured 5 million euros with the help of United Internet. United Internet, which also backs the well-known Rocket Internet, received 29.9 per cent of the startup's shares.
