6Wunderkinder announced the launch of Wunderlist 3 last night in its quest to become the “home of all the world’s lists”. The Berlin-based startup wants the new design and architecture of the to-do list to accelerate the growth of its already 8 million users. Key features of the second update include real-time sync and public lists.
6Wunderkinder introduced the first version of Wunderlist when the company was founded in 2010. Wunderlist is the startup’s sole product after it decided to shut down Wunderkit in its beta phase back in 2012. In its stead, 6Wunderkinder released Wunderlist 2 which fueled its number of users to 5 million in September 2013.
Now 6Wunderkinder is ready for another spike in numbers. With Wunderlist 3, users can share their lists online on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, blogs, and websites. Comments are now free, and real-time syncing is in place to make sure users receive them right away.
“Now, with Wunderlist 3, we are introducing a platform, for all the world’s lists, where people can discover and benefit from the knowledge of others. Whether you share your grocery list with a loved one, or create a public list of your favorite restaurants in Paris, making and discovering lists has never been easier,” says Christian Reber, 6Wunderkinder Founder and CEO.
Wunderlist is now available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Kindle Fire, Chrome OS and the Web with Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 coming soon.
