ad2games raises $9 million Series A for global expansion

3TS Capital Partners, HitFox Group as well as ad2games’ management team invested in the online game marketing platform ad2games. The $9 million investment will be used for international growth and new hires.

As the name lets one guess, ad2games is a performance marketing network that wants to connect game advertisers with its target group. Until now over 150 game publishers partner with ad2games. These include large names such as Goodgame Studios and Tencent. Over 4000 media partners work with ad2games, Pro7Sat1, SevenGames and JeuxVideo to name a few.

In 2012, Berlin-based ad2games was acquired by HitFox Group. HitFox is known to work with synergies. In this case, its user acquisition companies such as AppLift, PubNative and appiris will support ad2games’ development.

The fresh money will be used not only for growth but also for hiring. In addition to offices in Seoul and San Francisco, a new one is São Paulo is planned to grow its presence there and in additional Asian markets. The company announced over 30 new positions will open up. Until today, however, job offers are only available for the already existing offices in Berlin and San Francisco.
