The BeMyApp App Olympics results are in. The global event, which was held simultaneously in seven cities over the world – San Francisco, New York, Dallas, London, Paris, Zurich – last weekend was eventually won by New York entrants Kinvolved.
The clever educational app lets teachers easily track attendance of pupils on their iPhone and connect with parents by text to let them know if their child is skipping school. Kids can also get special rewards if they log perfect attendance.
It was a hotly fought contest and Berlin’s winner, UnlockYourBrain impressed the judges with another ingenious educational tool – this time an app that would help kids learn by locking them out of their phones until they answered a series of sneaky brain challenges.
But it’s not all over for the german victor – UnlockYourBrain is now on the hunt for alpha testers as well as some new bodies to help on the project. If you’re a game designer, Developer or Business bod with interest in the project, then get in touch by mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
