This week we have major calendar moments from the biggest independent Android conference to a two-day startup extravaganza, via lots of awesome evening meetups. If you want to get on board with the hottest OS on the market, you need to get to Droidcon. Billed as the world’s largest independent Android developer gathering, Droidcon is an event for devs and businesses community to talk apps or solutions or just network and discuss the Android world and it’s bleeding-edge tech. There’s a Berlin day tour, plus an informal meetup on Monday evening at c-Base, a Barcamp on Tuesday and conference proper on Wednesday.

If you want to immerse yourself in frontend web design, head to up.front this Tuesday. This monthly meet covers everything related to webdesign and frontend development – you can simply attend or participate with a proposal, keynote or 5-minute chat about your latest find on the web.

If you want to network with likeminded people in Berlin, then the aptly-named Likemind Berlin is probably for you. Simply billed as “an opportunity to enjoy coffee and conversation with likeminded people”, it does exactly what it says.

If you want to get inside the heads of the best Berlin startups, then head to Startup Camp. It’s a two-day conference organised by the Berlin Entrepreneurs Club and the speakers list reads like a Who’s Who of the startup scene include Gidsy co-founder Edial Dekker, Gunnor Froh of Air BnB, Felix Petersen from Amen, Conrad Fritzsch from Tape TV and Research Gate’s Ijad Madisc. There’ll be advice from Google on entrepreneurship and workshops on usability, cloud computing, hiring, internationalisation and anything else you could need to kick-start your startup.
