If you think next Monday’s Berlin Startup Crawl is an alias for a boozy, bar-hopping day with a bunch of rowdy entrepreneurs you’re quite mistaken. While there is a networking and drinks event at St. Oberholz at the end of the day, the crawl has more profound goals than getting drunk. The event aims to build connections and open access to startups and founders and – most interesting – particularly between the scenes in Germany and Poland.

Organised by Maciek Laskus and Clarissa Steinhoefel, the Startup Crawl presents an exciting collaboration between Poland and Germany, with the twin Startup Crawl event taking place in Krakow in November – the exact date is soon to be announced.

The collaboration aims to strengthen the ties between the two cities and means that media and entrepreneurs from the Polish startup scene will be travelling to Berlin for the crawl and vice versa. The organisers hope to expand the event to more European cities in the future.

The tour gives participants a firsthand glimpse into the working environment and management team at startups 9flats, Fab, Delivery Hero and SponsorPay, The founders of these startups will talk about their experiences building their businesses, with a Q&A session afterwards giving participants the chance to ask founders about their startup journey to their hearts’ content.
