Berlin Music Week

The conference WORD! on 4 and 5 September gives you a deeper insight in the latest trends and developments of the music and tech industry. The programme includes the VUT Indie Days and discusses the topics Recorded Music, Interactive, Tech & Startups. The focus of the panels, matchmakings and workshops is on new players and perspectives on the digital transformation.
At Music Start Up Corner digital companies and startups with a close link to the music ecosystem can present their ideas, products and services in elevator pitches targeting experts, potential partners and investors.
There also will be the first Music Hack Day in cooperation with Axel Springer with more than one hundred expected participating coders and artists. The international renowned Berlin DJ and electronic music producer Henrik Schwarz hosts a public workshop at the beginning of Music Hack Day. Coders, artists, API-partners and sponsors can now apply online for a participation in Music Hack Day Berlin.
AMAZON APPSTORE MEET & GREET EVENING: INTRODUCTION TO AMAZON APPSTORE

Learn how to grow a customer base by distributing an app to Amazon customers in over 200 countries. Amazon Appstore leaders and technical experts will be on-hand to walk the audience through the program basics and how to get started. Also, the new Fire phone and Fire TV available to experience.
The Amazon Appstore allows developers to distribute and sell their Android and HTML5 web apps to millions of customers in over 200 countries around the world. It is available on a multitude of devices, and is pre-loaded on Android phones distributed by select carriers. The Amazon Appstore has over 240,000 apps globally.

Startup Safary Berlin 2014 is opening the doors of the startup industry on the 4th and 5th of September and enabling a glimpse behind the scenes of small and more established innovative companies, incubators and investment funds. The goal is to allow attendees to learn about the company culture and meet the teams and founders in person. Companies like Google, Twilio, Kayak, Smava, Audibene, Stripe, Microsoft Ventures Acclerator and Eventbrite will be hosting office tours, workshops, Q&A’s and recruiting sessions in their offices for founders, journalists, students, investors and job seekers.
TEDxBerlin “The Next Step”

TEDxBerlin will host its next idea conference entitled “The Next Step“ featuring speakers such as Daniel Kraft (healthcare innovator & entrepreneur, Singularity University), Thomas Ramge (journalist & author, also for brandeins), Eva Illouz (researcher, on emotions & capitalism) or Sadiq Gilliani (aviation strategist).

M.E.S.H. – Medical Entrepreneur Start-up Hospital
Date: 17 – 18 September 2014

The two-day startup camp “M.E.S.H” will be a get-togehter of healthcare startups, investors, international speakers and mentors. Startuppers can train their skills and take part in 1:1 mentoring, roundtables, pitch doctor sessions and workshops with international speakers. Via pitch participation, they will fight for “blood infusions” and reach for the price money of €3,000. M.E.S.H takes place on a campground in Berlin and is easily accessible from the airport Tegel.
Startup Rally – Berlin

Startup Rally is a Pan-European initiative of pitching & networking events run across 9 European cities, including Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. Its aim is to cross boundaries between startup communities, by letting entrepreneurs from different cities meet each other and exchange their experiences, as well as get introduced to local investors and pitch to them.
