Welcome to the VentureVillage Events Diary – read on and discover the hottest startup events of the week!
Propeller’s goal is to create an event where the emphasis is on the conversations with attendees, not on the speakers, panelists, and slides. To achieve this, a special agenda has been planned for the event. Before the event each participant will have to fill in a questionnaire. That will be the basis of a group matching process. By the way, the same people who match groups at the World Economic Forum in Davos do this.
Upon arrival, each participant will be handed a boarding pass with an itinerary of conversations. At first, people will be grouped with those who share a similar interest and background. Over the course of the day, they then will be divided into progressively smaller groups with people whom you may not normally encounter. Discussion pilots will assist on curating conversations and broadening the discussion. By the end of the day each participant should have met new people, engaged in sharp conversations, and gained new inspiration to put each persons mind in flight.
