TechCrunch Disrupt is one of the most anticipated technology conferences of the year. This year the event comes to Berlin on 28 and 29 October for the first time to present startups, influential speakers and special guests.

Slava Rubin, founder and CEO of Indiegogo, is in town. Founded in early 2008, Indiegogo has been a trail blazer for the crowdfunding concept, their largest campaigns net almost $2m. In addition to Slava, Thomas Herzog from Innovestment.de will be on stage giving insights into the crowd-investment side of things.
To find out what works and what doesn't there will also be two crowdfunded startups on stage. This is a great opportunity to understand mechanics and best practices, ask questions, and see if your own idea could get cash from the crowd too.

Startup Weekend NEXT is a new part-time programme for teams that have an idea but need to test customer and business model assumptions.
