Facebook reportedly pulled in $1.25bn in ad revenues last quarter and recently revealed that it has one million active advertisers worldwide. So, who are some of the heavy-hitters driving the social network’s ad income?
Unsurprisingly, Facebook is quite established in developed markets, with North America moving towards a saturation point of 50.3 per cent of the population. However, there appears to be room for growth in emerging markets within Asia and Africa. Additionally, in 2012, the fastest-growing countries for Facebook users were Brazil and India.
