Just how have Germany's startup sectors changed in the last three years? The Heureka created this interactive graphic using data from Deutsche Startup Monitor reports. Highlight portions of the graph to see exact percentages or view fewer sectors by clicking the labels on the right.

The biggest takeaways? E-commerce has seen a decrease from 12.3 per cent in 2014 to 8.7 per cent in 2016. IT/Software development startups have skyrocketed from just under 3 per cent in 2014 to 15 per cent.

FinTech, food-related startups and medical tech startups have also seen a steady increase over the last three years.
