Which German brands have made the biggest bang on Facebook in 2012? Social media analytics platform Social Bakers has just released some figures on the best-performing corporate entities of 2012.
Two global brands squat at the top, with Amazon.de and McDonald’s taking the two top spots. Nice to see that books beat burgers however. New Yorker and StyleFruits are the leading in fashion brands that know how to work it on social media, while Lidl and DM are top shops, Luftansa flying high as most popular German airline.
And no favourite global German brands would be complete without some chocolate-flavoured entries. Kinder and Nutella both rank – at six and eight respectively, while Berlin-based social gamers Wooga rank a very respectable No 9.
