The jury and mentor line-up for Berlin’s second installment of startup pitch event TWiST has today been confirmed.

Sitting tight on the judges’ panel, will be founder of The Factory Simon Schäfer, developer at Wooga Tim Lossen and editor at Silicon Allee David Knight.

Judges will then hand-pick three of the strongest startups for a live pitch-off battle against London, hosted by Valley-based This Week in Startups  member Jason Calacanis.

To tweak and transform upcoming startups into fine one-minute pitchers, will be rehearsal mentors: Berlin actress Bianca Praetorius (pictured above right), co-founder of Startupbootcamp Alex Farcet, founder of Berlin Startup Academy Christopher Räthke, and last year’s Startup Weekend “best pitch” winner Christoph Sollich.

Here’s a brisk walk-through of the event on 8 June:

7 – 9pm – Pre-competition. The jury selects three of the strongest startups for the live competition (and a practice pitch run-through gets madly underway)
9 – 10pm – Live Show. Jason Calacanis will host the competition between London and Berlin
10pm – Aftershow Party at Ahoy! with up to 400 people. DJ Hemingway, a Grammy Award-winning musician will be scratching up the decks with lots of free beers.

Earlybird tickets are still available for the quick…
