Microsoft Ventures Accelerator announces the Startups in the second round
Berlin-based Microsoft Ventures Accelerator named the eight startups that will be part of the four month long program starting on August 18th. Ideas cover categories like smart home, social recruiting and recommendation, e-payment and, internet of things.
Most of the startups are from Germany, two are from Austria and one from Switzerland.
The following eight teams will participate
Brightup: The startup from Hamburg wants to improve house lightning through an app.
Firstbird: A web-based recommendation tool to recruit new employees.
Flowtap: Machine learning meets mobile technology to support sales representatives with company data.
Lexvisors: An online marketplace where private people and companies can find automated solutions for legal matters and can compare prices for lawyers for complex legal questions.
“left”]payever: A payment solution that lets you accept all established payment methods in online shops, on facebook, or via email.
POWZY: A solution for consumer acquisition and engagement using mobile technology and gamification.
rooming: An international marketplace for furnished accommodations.
videopath: A tool to create and publish interactive videos.
The startups will receive mentoring, coaching, and workshops about technology, design development, as well as marketing and HR.
