1. Orderbird receives $10 million in funding 

Orderbird, a provider of POS services based in Berlin, has received $10 million in funding led by ConCardis. The company plans to use the latest funding round to expand outside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. [More on TechCrunch]

2. Six new startups enter the ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator

ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator announced its 4th round with no startup that is directly connected to the media business. It still makes sense, states ProSiebenSat.1, referring to the target group it can reach for startups with its media channels. [More on VentureVillage]
