Local shopping platform: Hierbeidir.com
Based in Dusseldorf, Hierbeidir (German for something like Around you) offers a local marketplace. While same-day delivery is available for users (in certain cities), Hierbeidir offers smaller and/or local traders who don’t have their own online shop a platform to be able to sell their products online. Items range from local food to sunglasses to clothing to Bang & Olufsen headphones. Items can be picked up in the store or delivered by bike (same-day) or mail.
Parking fee card: Evopark
Cologne-based Evopark offers a card you can put in your car to access and leave select parking garages. What this means: users don’t need to get a parking ticket and pay it later, but instead have an automated system. Users also get discounts at select stores. The startup has deals with parking garages in 14 German cities.
