Hey you. Yes, YOU! You look like the sort of go-getter that would shine in a startup job. Berlin is hiring right now and job interviewers are craving young, innocent meat – but be prepared for a rigorous interview, just like poor Greg in this week’s video. Go out there and show them you can stand up to this rollercoaster of emotions and get your dream job. Definitely? Definitely!
Intern: Marketing and Communications
This internship position will hold an important role in launching the first Startupbootcamp, startup accelerator program in Berlin, Germany. The marketing and communications intern will work directly with the Marketing team at Startupbootcamp to create a brand presence within the German startup market as well as contribute to initiatives leading the Startupbootcamp brand in Europe.
You will learn about marketing practices and be heavily involved with communicating and learning about mass communication and online digital strategies. We are not looking for a Seth Godin but someone who is innovative and possess creative methods for maximum exposure. You read technology and marketing news regularly (if not daily) and already have some networks within the startup/marketing/PR community.
If you have Photoshop/Illustrator ability, you’re in our good books. You are fond of social media, already have followers in your Twitter account and interested in a possible career as a Community Manager. You’re especially not afraid to try new apps out and speaking to people both offline and online. Points in this article resonate with your online social media skills.
You possess a professional yet fun communication style that is fluent in both English and German and eager to learn how to use new tools (although if you don’t know how to use WordPress, you might want to start looking into now). What you get? Pan-European marketing experience and an internship that will allow you to discover the world of startups, meet mentors in the program and explore every aspect of integrated marketing strategies.
