Startupbootcamp Berlin today opened a wildcard competition for startups keen to secure their chance for €15,000 seed funding and mentorship from the likes of SoundCloud, Wooga, Gidsy, Project A, Passion Capital and Accel Partners.
Participants in Startupbootcamp Berlin’s 100-day accelerator programme – limited to 10 teams – get €15,000 seed funding, six months of co-working space and expert mentorship. Business lawyers Lindenpartners, based in Berlin, will be on hand to provide initial legal advice and help startups form contracts.
Regular applications close on 17 June. Keen founders can also secure a spot in the final selection event on 3 and 4 July (for the top 20 entries) by entering Startupbootcamp’s wildcard competition (in partnership with TalentsMedia and Amazon Web Services).
Just upload a pitch video (it can be the same one you used for your Startupbootcamp application) and rally fans, friends and partners to share the video link via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. The team with the highest number of such “votes” by 17 June will win the “wildcard” entry to the final selection.
Berlin is the latest addition to the Startupbootcamp pan-European family, alongside Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Madrid. Graduates include browser history search machine Archify (Copenhagen 2011), which just secured seed funding from Balderton Capital (and is relocating to Berlin).
