These popular podcasts, related to business, entrepreneurship and marketing, are a startup junkies’ dream.

Deutsche Welle’s Made in Germany podcast, available in English, German, Spanish and Arabic, is a 30-minute show that looks at current economic developments in the country.

Planet Money, by National Public Radio (NPR), explains economics “with stories and surprises.” The podcast has 3,633 ratings on iTunes and is the most popular podcast in the business category. Check it out here.

World of Business, created by the British Broadcasting Corporation, pools content from the BBC World Service and the In Business program, focusing on insights about global business.

StartUp Podcast, by Gimlet, follows entrepreneur Alex Blumberg as he tries to launch his own business in the US. Currently in its third season, StartUp podcast has 4,818 ratings on iTunes. It is the top podcast in the careers category.

HBR IdeaCast is the most popular podcast in the management and marketing category on iTunes. The weekly podcast, by the Harvard Business Review, features “leading thinkers in business and management.”

A relatively new podcast, How I Built This, another NPR creation, skyrocketed to the top of iTunes most popular shows. How I Built This is all about “innovators, entrepreneurs and idealists, and the stories behind the movements they built.” Guest speakers have included, among others, the founder of Airbnb, Joe Gebbia, and Spanx creator, Sara Blakely.

TEDtalks Business, produced by TEDTalks, shares the stories and insights of professionals, entrepreneurs and scientists. These podcasts are also available as videos with English subtitles or in different languages.

The FT Money Show, a Financial Times product, brings “engaging and insightful coverage of the week’s major personal finance issues.” From pensions to investment trusts, the podcast covers a wide variety of topics that “will affect you and your pocket.”

SHIFT, another Deutsche Welle creation, looks at internet trends and why they matter. The weekly podcast covers Emojis, virtual reality and the future of journalism. SHIFT is a great place to find inspiration by learning what is making waves and why.
