“Ideas Worth Spreading” is what TED conferences stands for. TED was founded 30 years ago in Monterey, California, and discusses innovation dealing with technology, education, and design. TEDx are independently organized TED-like events following the TED guidelines and taking place in multiple cities worldwide.
This year’s TEDxBerlin topic is “The Next Step” and will discuss future-oriented questions dealing with health, management, aviation, energy, city planning, and happiness.
New ideas and innovations will be presented by e.g. Daniel Kraft (physician, scientist, innovator; Singularity University), Jason Wishnow (producer), Anke Plagnol (psychologist, City University London), Sadiq Gillani (aviation strategist) and Thomas Ramge (non-fiction author, economic journalist for e.g. brand eins).
The 18-minute TED talks will start on Saturday, September 6th at 10 am at CityCubeBerlin.
VENTUREVILLAGE has two free tickets to hand out!
To be part of the lottery, send a tweet to @venturevillage and share what problem you would like to be solved next. It’d be great if your issue fits into the categories (health, management, aviation, energy, city planning, and happiness), but it doesn’t have to.
We are looking forward to your ideas and will inform the two winners on Monday (July 28th, 2014) through the twitter account.
