Need that push to get your startup off the ground and transform your idea into a reality? Lacking the skills and network to make your business a success story?
In just two weeks the Heureka Conference will be taking place in Berlin, Vertical Media’s very own event providing you with an opportunity to build up your contacts while gaining all the knowledge you need to get financing, market your startup, hire a great team and build a successful business model.
On 14 May, Heureka will take over the historic Alte Münze in the Nicolai Viertal in Berlin. Experts from the areas of VC, developing, marketing, HR and company building will hold keynotes, speak on panels and host hands-on workshops.
“Knowledge and experience are the two most important factors you need to have in order to be successful in a business setting. That’s why we focused Heureka more on the needs of startups this year. In the workshops in particular, young startups can learn from the most experienced brains in the business and in the end not only take away knowledge, but also important contacts”, Sebastian Esser, Director of Events told us.
Slotting in with the Berlin Web Week festivities, Heureka conference-goers can get into the networking spirit early by checking out the Breakfast Club on 8 May and mingling over coffee and nibbles.
Need some more incentives to get to Heureka? How about some of the biggest names in startups and tech running workshops at the event?
Speakers include business angels and startup heavyweights Christophe Maire and Peter Read, DailyDeal founder Florian Heinemann, HitFox Group founder Jan Beckers, Point Nine Capital founder Pawel Chudzinski, Etsy Country Manager Caroline Drucker and Kolja Hebenstreit and Lukasz Gadowski, founders of Team Europe (just to name a few).
You’ll be able to get to know the speakers in a relaxed setting after the conference at a barbecue to help you unwind after a day’s soaking up valuable information.
A pitch fight at the conference will see a total of 18 early-stage startups compete with one another for a place in the newly launched accelerator from media corporation Axel Springer – Plug&Play, along with media coverage on Business Punk, VentureVillage and our sister magazine, Gründerszene.
