Berlin-based startup Clue launched its period tracker app for Android this week. Co-founder Ida Tin says, “Since the release of our iOS app last year, we focused on making Clue the best tool for female reproductive health. We are thrilled to bring the app that thousands of users have come to trust to Android.”

Axel Springer Invests $20 Million Into Online Magazine OZY

width="105"Axel Springer announced that it has invested $20 million into the Silicon Valley based online magazine OZY. The publication that covers stories on news and culture was founded last year by Carlos Watson, a former MSNBC anchor. OZY’s aim is to bring readers “news and information in a completely different way.” Read more


$7 Million A Round for C&A and Primark challenger Lesara

width="105"German online retailer Lesara announced a $7 million Series A lead by Mangrove Capital from Luxemburg. US-based Funderguild, Fabrice Grinda and previous investors including Partech Ventures, KupiVP founder Oskar Hartmann, Marafoni founder Sina Afra and others joined the round.  Read more

€4 Million investment for off- and online register solution inventorum

RNTS Media acquires Fyber for $190M to create a global mobile-advertising technology company

RNTS Media has acquired Berlin-based Fyber for $190 million in a bid to create a global mobile advertising technology company. The transaction is unusual in that Fyber is the bigger company and its management team will help run the combined company as it negotiates its way in the $18 billion mobile ad revenue market. via VentureBeat

Xyo sells its app-finding tech to Mandalay Digital Group for integration with Digital Turbine

 The Berlin startup Xyo, which has deals with partners such as T-Mobile, has sold its app search engine and contextual advertising tech to the U.S.-based Mandalay Digital Group, the proprietor of one of Xyo’s biggest rivals, Digital Turbine. Via Gigaom
