Three key staff members are moving on from Rocket Internet’s eDarling with one taking up a place at what’s fast becoming the ex-Rocket exec’s location of choice, Project A.

Managing Director Kai Rieke is expected to join Project A Ventures, led by more ex-Rocket colleagues Uwe Horstmann and Christian Weiss and former TopTarif CEO Thies Sander.

Florian Heinemann, who is still listed as a Rocket Internet managing director, confirmed earlier this month that he will also be joining Project A.

So far, newcomer Project A lists two portfolio companies on its website: men’s fashion brand Amarano and Wine in Black, an exclusive community offering premium wine deals to members. A third company, a food delivery platform Kochzauber has recently opened its doors.

A quick glance at the Project A’s new jobs page shows about 70 positions up for grabs, all in Berlin, ranging from entrepreneur-in-residence to creative marketing manager.

Meanwhile, Gründerszene reports eDarling’s head of display marketing Annabella Da Encarnacao is expected to join company-builder Team Europe (also a shareholder in VentureVillage). Current eDarling head of customer-care Florian Fuhrmann is understood to be moving on to popular Berlin-based social games provider Wooga.

Rocket Internet confirmed yesterday that it will be opening offices in Munich, with suggestions that the move is part of a drive to attract talent from southern Germany.
