Today in Berlin: Eventbrite, Book A Tiger, Epic and more

It’s Monday. Doesn’t make a difference: Here are your daily news from Berlin:

Welcome to Berlin

Eventbrite is opening an office in Berlin

Eventbrite announced it is hiring in Germany’s capital. Up for joining the team? On Friday a meet up will take place at the Rainmaking Loft.

Short Overview: Cleaning Marketplace Apps

Book a Tiger announces its Android app

Cleaning marketplace BOOK A TIGER launched its Android app today. The iOS version is available since July.  Claude Ritter, CPO and co founder of   BOOK A TIGER commented, that the startup understood the importance of flexibility in the booking process.

Competitor helpling from Rocket Internet does too and offers an iOS and an Android app as well. Comparing the ratings in the iTunes store, helpling scores 4.5 and BOOK A TIGER 5 stars – not much of a difference (and with 14 and eight recommendations maybe not meaningful).

Different to that is the also Berlin-based startup cleanagents. On the phone the company explained it is working on an Android app. Different to the other two companies mentioned above, cleanagents wants to focus on supporting the cleaners, e.g. by offering a schedule.
