Aachen-based plus-size fashion retailer navabi raises €25 million

Aachen-based plus-size fashion retailer navabi raised a €25 million series D funding round, led by Bauer Venture Partners. Previous investors Index Ventures, Seventure Partners, DuMont Venture and Klaus Wecken also joined the round. Bauer invested with cash and an advertising budget. This provides navabi with access to its portfolio of 600 magazines, such as UK-based Grazia, and 400 digital products. The funding will also be used to expand and to grow navabi’s product offering.

Enterprise Messanging App ChatGrape raises $1.3

ChatGrape from Austria is an enterprise and team messaging app that claims to be a more ‘intelligent’ Slack or HipChat. The $1.3 million investment is being led by Betaworks . The round was also joined by a group of seven ‘top tier’ angel investors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including Julian Zehetmayr (who has just done one of the youngest company exits in Austria after selling Mobfox to Matomy for $17.6m), Ingo Weber (CEO of Germany’s FAS), and AC&Friends (a Vienna-based angel fund), to name just a few.
