Rocket & Wirecard announce partnership

Wirecard is an international provider of electronic payment and risk management services. Today, Rocket Internet announced a partnership with them. Using Wirecard’s  platform, Rocket Internet’s online companies will be able to offer international payment acceptance, acquiring and payment processes with the corresponding fraud prevention solutions. Rocket's Tripda launches in the U.S.

Rocket's Tripda, an online ride-sharing marketplace launched in Northeast and Midwest America and will soon be available in the entire U.S.  Tripda connects people who need rides with drivers who have empty car seats for long trips. Interesting. Rocket, who invested in May this year, often doesn't focus on the U.S. market or launches services there. 

Medical tourism startup raises €5 million

Medigo, a startup from Berlin that has built a marketplace to facilitate such medical travels, is today announcing a €5 million round of funding lead by Accel. Read more on TechCrunch
