Stuffle launches Web App to open up to more users

Hamburg’s until now mobile only marketplace Stuffle launched its web app. “We already reach many people with our Android and iOS apps,” says Mark Jäger, CPO at Stuffle. “However, we understand that we can address an even broader audience with offering a web app.” While the mobile apps offer to browse items near by, the web app also allows user to change the location – a feature that was often requested. Until now, new offers can only be posted with a smartphone, it was mentioned that it will be available to the web users in the future as well.

French VC Ventech opens office in Munich

Ventech, VC for more than 15 years, announced it will open an office in Munich. The VC company likes to invest in the Information Technology sector. Previous investments are found in hardware/connected devices companies (e.g. Withings), consumer internet startups (e. g. TVSmiles), software companies (Saas B2b, e.g. Bonitasoft), the e-commerce/mass-customization space (Picanova) and in fashion (Vestiaire Collective). With a total of more than €400 million raised, Ventech states it mostly joins Series A or B rounds, investing between €1–5 million.

With its new office in Munich, Ventech wants to concentrate on German based startups now.

ImmobilienScout24 buys Cologne-based Flowfact

The real estate marketplace ImmobilienScout24 buys the CRM software company Flowfact. Details of the deal were not disclosed. However, it was stated that Flowfact will continue to act independently. Read more on Internet World (German).

Seven-Digit Euro Round for Eyeglass24

Munich-based Eyeglass24 announced fresh funding. Besides existing investors (SevenVentures, Whitestone Communication Networks as well as different business angels), BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft and  Schlüssel Family Office joined the round. Seven-Digit Round in Cash and Media for Passt24

DvH Ventures invests in the insurance marketplace Passt24. The investment includes Cash as well as media budget in the German economy newspaper Handelsblatt. Read more on Gründerszene (German)
