11. November 2011–
For eleven years now, MobileMonday events have been touring cities worldwide. The goal is to draw in telecommunications and tech enthusiasts to focus on a variety of topics on the mobile-phone industry. On December 5th 2011, MobileMonday Berlin will take another look at what continues to be the strongest and most successful mobile content of all: games.
Mobile Gaming - The Next Generation
MoMo, as the event series fondly calls itself, is organized by a group of dedicated volunteers from around the world. Originating in Helsinki, Finland, in 2000, MobileMonday has grown into a global community of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influential industry leaders. Together, they foster cooperation and business developments through virtual and live networking events to share; ideas, best practices and trends from global markets.
Christoph Räthke, co-founder of the MobileMonday Berlin editions, said the event aims to "focus on the stories behind the stories and to demonstrate, through a number of exciting and inspiring presentations, what the mobile industry is made of."
In the time since the first downloadable mobile games became available almost ten years ago, much has changed. Reason enough for the next Berlin MoMo edition to dedicate itself to the topic of "Mobile Gaming: The Next Generation". Speakers will highlight; usability, target groups, marketing approaches, innovative new game concepts, and what will shape mobile gaming in years to come. All presentations will be held in English. As always, there will be plenty of time for in-depth conversations and networking by the bar - once the presentations conclude.
